According to the Muscle Car Club, among the Beach Boys and Bruce Springsteen, lesser known artists such as Wilson Pickett ("Mustang Sally") & Ronny and the Daytonas, immortalized American muscle like the GTO with their hit "Little GTO".
And MSNBC points out the phenomenon that foreign makes like Toyota and Honda just can't take away from domestic automobiles.
